How does this sound
My debt problems began several years ago after leaving full time employment to start my own internet retail business
I already had manageable debts however I started adding to these by purchasing stock for my business
I ended up taking further credit with other banks and catalogues purchasing stock and borrowing from them to pay others to support my business.
Last year I purchased shares to try to recoup some of my losses, however this was not successful, and I ended up losing money on the shares
Sales and selling prices in my retail business are declining, which combined with everything else has caused me to look into Bankruptcy as an option to give me a clean start.
I have recently taken advice from CCCS and the CAB and they have advised me that Bankruptcy is the best viable option for me.
I deeply regret the situation I have gotten myself into, however there was no time that I did not believe that I was taking out credit that I would not be able to repay.0 -

Hiya betterlife
Definitely agree with skintsteve would sound better if the "as an option to give me a clean start" was left out. But it's honest and to the point.
Good luck xBig Thanks to all who post on the comps board0
