Homebase gas BBQ- major bargain.

Hi all, just nipped into Homebase, westwood cross Thanet. Right next to the door they had a stack of around 20 of these babies, and I couldn't resist!
They're not online, and I have no idea if it was a store one-off.
Two burner gas BBQ, with side burner, for £29.99! Model number WG2400. These are the type that they'd be selling in the summer for around the £60-£80 price bracket.
I found a piccie online

Hope this benefits someone else
Now, bring me sunshine....

Wow what a bargain! Am going to make a trip to the Crossflatts branch this morning on the off-chance they have them there too. Thanks!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Sorry great offer but just wondering do these not use coal then?? so its just like a grill outside..?People who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones...
It is much easier to see other people's failings than our own.0 -
That's right. It runs on gas.
My preference is for coals for the flavour as it happens, but our traditional bbq died at the end of last season. As such, we'll be on the lookout for a big barrel barbie this year as, living in what is possibly the friendliest street in the western hemisphere, barbies usually end up being parties.
For an ad-hoc, thursday night "fancy bbq'ing some sausages?" moment, when there's just four of us- this makes it viable.
It also has another huge advantage- we live rurally, have no gas, and have frequent powercuts. We can fire this up & still have a hot meal.
Anyway, lot's of people prefer the speed & convenience of a gas set up, and good luck to them in getting hold of these. :jOnly dead fish go with the flow...0 -
