Focus

Not sure if this is something to be worried about but just read on the BBC news site that Focus credit insurers have reduced their coverage to less than 5%.

Story is http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7853027.stm

Isn't that one of the reasons why Woolies started to have major problems, their credit insurers refused to cover and they were then forced to pay cash?

Wouldn't surprise me if I got that bum upwards though :D
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Thanks for that Sue. Totally OT, but good luck with the OU, I guess you've had your first reading pack through by now...
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Yep, a lovely, big, scary box full of scary looking things! Looking forward to it though.

Yes, that was it exactly (according to Peston). Their suppliers demanded they pay cash and their lenders wouldn't give them any more credit. They were in the middle of buying stock for Christmas and it pushed them over the edge very quickly.

Do you know I had to sit here for about a minute and work out what you meant! I saw Bold and thought you was talking about washing powder and wondered how that related to Focus and awesome driving experience.

Yep, I am not being the sharpest tool in the toolbox tonight :D

Not doom but merely fact reporting...to counter it I did post how it was good news Asda are creating 7000 jobs ;)

    * Oh and please have a heart, this is only the second thread I have started and the first on this board, I'm a quiet little mouse I am :rotfl:
