Shopping basket on wheels?? Help!

Has anyone got one of these?

I've had several of those collapsible crates on wheels and they don't last long, but recently I accidentally liberated one of those new shopping baskets on wheels from Sainsbury's and have found it fantastic for carting my books across campus. It's so obvious I shouldn't have it & should take it back but I'm so loath to part with it!!

What do you think of this one? it looks sturdy & a good price! There are some slightly cheaper smaller ones from shopfitters but this one looks better. Anyone out there who could advise? It's £26.50 inc VAT and Postage and Packing

Cheers

A friend of mine was messed around big time by a large store, and after a lot of hassle, went out to his car, wheeling exactly the same type of basket you show. Because is was (a) !!!!ing down and becasue he was (b) !!!!ed off witrh the shop, he just put the whole thing in his car and drove off - revenge if you like.

He'd used it around the house, but one day decided to leave it in the boot of his car, and use it to carry his supermarket shopping (no bags = clubcard points). Imagine his horror when all the alarms went off as he left the shop! There's obviously some little chip in the basket which set it off. He said the staff quickly accepted he hadn't pinched anyhting from that store, but they gave him a very knowing look about the trolley!

So in case you do accidentally keep it, be careful where you use it.]

BTW, a cheaper alternative is somehting like this...

which our local QUALITYSAVE was selling for about £8 recently

Thanks for your reply.... mine must go back soon as my conscience is pricking... The one you show doesn't last long if full of heavy stuff like books & laptop as it relies on some pretty flimsy plastic lugs. Have decided to buy the green one as I can go & collect & they give a better price for multiple orders. Will buy one for my mother too!

    Thanks!
