After sending out my CV to 40 odd Estate Agents on Friday I have had a couple of calls. I popped into one of them today for a chat with the Manager and he can offer me some Saturdays in Feb, and I have just had another call from another and am meeting them tomorrow evening, and they can guarantee every Saturday. I also had a call in response to a position I applied for a while ago and they offered me the job (its part time, and paying £8.50 an hour, general admin/telephone work for a travel magazine - probably 9 hours a week).
I am chuffed that I have had such a good response, but might need to be in three places at once from the sounds of it :0)
Also today I picked up two pairs of cut off linen trousers for my travels at £5 each, so it looks as though I'll be taking the £17.99 pair back to next :0) I love bargains!! I also received the £7.50 from "Photo Me" for the passport photos that come out dodgy last week.
Let the hard work commence :0(

Yes, just means I am going to have to do more work (obviously!!) and have just got used to doing the one job. Still, if it means more money for travelling it will be worth it.
Not really an inspiration, just slightly mad.!!0 -

Well done Ms London... I have a second job in a pub at the moment and know how tiring it can be sometimes when you work full time too... But the motivation of travelling should make it a whole lot easier for you.

Just had a call from ANOTHER estate agents, looks as though I'm working Saturday!! It's £10 an hour (gross), paid monthly - the hours are 10-3 which isnt so bad - means i miss Bodypump, but at least its not an early start or a late finish, and will be about £37.50 per shift (although it might not be every sat!!)..
Could these wages be paid directly into my ING account rather than my current account? (at least then I wont touch them!!).
Oh poo, just had a call from another agency - right, anyone in the SW London area looking for Saturday work????!!!! I think I've found you a job (or ten!!)... Didnt quite expect this response!! Good though.

Wow, fantastic news!! I don't think they can get paid straight into the ING account but as soon as you know what you are being paid you could set up a transfer from your current account to ING which only takes 2/3 days to go through. Meanwhile set up a seperate ING 'pot' for those wages so you know to the penny how much you've earned.0
