  • Oh dear, the new BP rule is not very good is it :( I can see why they've brought it in, but its going to be really hard to redeem now. Especially for those of us who don't have time to go on every single day...I tend to go on and post loads every 3 days or so, and then not at all for the next couple of days, so I will end up missing those day's post allocations :( Oh well, it was good while it lasted!

Nothing to report for me so far today...I am feeling so unmotivated! Well I am feeling a bit motivated, but just don't seem to be able to get much started. OH has a weeks holiday from work this week, so I have a feeling I will get absolutely nothing done all week in fact! (doesn't that sound awful?! Of course I would MUCH rather spend time with him than him being at work - but it just means I will not really have time to do any Ebaying or anything, so got a feeling I will end up very behind on this month's total).

Off to take my car to the garage now...wish me luck, please don't let it cost too much!

Received £50 chq from New Vista today. That really boosted my total!

I've noticed alot of people mention AQA. What is this?
    May - £251.63/£155, June - £108.69/£150, July - £157.45/£155, Aug - £104.28/£155
    Sept - £110.80/£150, Make £5 a day in Oct challenge = £50.50/£155
  • While I remember to ask - has anyone used Cashbackkings before? I took out my car breakdown policy a couple of weeks ago through them - should have got £17 cashback, but it hasn’t appeared on my statement? It does says it can take up to 14 days to appear, but it’s been 13 days so I will be very surprised if it miraculously does show up tomorrow on the final day. Oooh I will be so annoyed if it hasn’t tracked - I know you can never 100% rely on cashback but it doesn’t seem fair as I am a genuine paying customer, and they shouldn’t advertise it if it doesn’t work!

Sorry, I am having a right moan today aren’t I?! :o Blame it on boredom, and the worry about how much my car is going to cost... I am realising I will need every penny I can get my hands on!

Cashbackkings are ok, Ive used them once or twice if the amounts havent appeared on your statement by the end of their wait period - 21 days I think, start the missing cashback process, they seem slow to respond but both times Ive had to do it the amount has been credited eventually.

  • I did appallingly bad at this in January but I'd like to be included again for this month though I think I'll set myself a more moderate target of £5 per day!

  • I think I'm gonna have to do a booty on Sunday to jump start my totals this month....total so far is made up of £3.75 book sale on Amazon and 42p payment from Quidco (though I am expecting another payment of about £20 from them too later on in the month :))

Addams, AQA is a text-answering service so someone texts in a question which you then reply to via text. I don't have a link for them I'm afraid but I think there's a thread in the Boost Your Income forum about them which may be more helpful :)

I think this new BP rule is ridiculous for the reason they have given. If its because some people were just posting to redeem and were not playing bingo then why can they not put a stop to that?

I play every evening but 1000 points is not going to last me long enough to play, especially not slots as well. Its just an excuse to stop us redeeming thats all :(
