£3.90 from Quidco landed in my account today, plus some interest on my savings and a mystery shop paid me.

I've not got off to a very good start! I decided to only count Quidco that I got this month, not what I'd accrued in previous months which would be paid today. I had quite a big sum today so thought that was cheating a bit..

So made a couple of quidco purchases, and neither have tracked - eek! I do have to renew car insurance this month so hopefully I can quidco that. I'm going to try ebay for the first time, and at the weekend I'm going to scour the house for loose change and take it to coinstar. I have put loads of books on greenmetropolis but understand it can take some time for any to sell.

You lot make it seem so easy! :D

    Home Insurance Hacker!
Had a good day today got £6 in M&S vouchers for using my credit card (Christmas shopping) £15 bingoport redeem (can't believe it, thought I would only ever manage £5) posted my book for green metropolis but bit disappointed with cost of postage. £1.67 for a not particularly big paperback means I only ended up with £1.33. I've been feeling ill for a few days so still haven't done enough dooyoo reviews, only need to do a couple more so must get on with that. Oh saved £1 parking today, where I work there are only two free spaces so we normally have a long walk (I usually do this but have been paying to park while I've been feeling rough) as I was about to put my money in the machine I saw a couple walking to a car in a free space, jumped back in my car and got there as they pulled out.

I don't want to commit myself to making extra money because I am new to this so I will try without making a commitment and then maybe next month I'll put my name down!

Just want to say thank you though to all the people here doing it as it has definitely inspired me to have a go...so cheers guys!!

  • Today I've managed £4.20 on AQA, £7 in M&S vouchers from my &More card from Xmas purchases and £5 on free Asda delivery with a voucher code.

Hoping to hit £100 by Sunday with a steady £5 a day on AQA.

Forecast heavy snow tonight in S.Wales. Was hoping to get out and buy baby milk with my Boots points but have enough until the weekend. Am counting on snow only lasting a day!! I wish I was still breastfeeding. So much cheaper. I'm spending £8 a week on formula!
