Further advice is needed about my reply to 1st Credit.
I ignored their first letter and the second then I recieved one asking if I would like to pay my debt by installments. As I have never had a debt outstanding and didnt know of the company they were working for I deceided to send them a 12 working day produce the debt or go away letter and a £1.00 postal order so they could explain the debt. They have replied with a letter which says "It will take us about a month to find what the debt is we will contact you later" How should I respond, they clearly do not have the debt should the FSA or police be informed. Thanks for your answers.

You'd be better asking this on the DFW board as there are experts on there. The only thing I will say is don't acknowledge the debt in any way and only communicate by letter if they call you hang up.0
