Girl Meets Dress

Hey All,

If like me you're a bit into your designer gear but dont have the budget for it (:o), perhaps you might like to check out this new dress rental agency I've found:
http://girlmeetsdress.com/

Its a designer dress rental service - and no it isnt cheap, but absolutely perfect if you want a dress for a ball/wedding and dont want to buy one from Coast or where ever...

Shame they charge extra for delivery/return - if it was included in the rent price it would be so much better - anyway I'm going to try it out later in the month.

I'll let you know how it goes :D

  • How long do you keep the dresses for and how much is delivery/ return? Sounds like a good idea as I hate spending loads of money on a dress that I'm only going to be able to wear once lol!

You can hire for different amounts of time - but the basic is two days by the look of it...

Um its says delivery/return is £9.95 but that includes insurance and DHL delivery/collection

I'm not sure how the return works to be honest - like if you hire for two days do you have to arrange for them to collect it on the second day or what?? I might email and ask.

I know what you mean though - I spent £180 on a dress to wear to a wedding last year - eeekk - so if I can hire one for £40-50 then thats saving money plus it doesnt gather dust in my wardrobe either after the event!
  • Yeah I just visited the link and its not too clear about the returns - let me know if you find out though please :-) I'm the same, I bought a Jane Norman dress and have worn it once - I'm desperate for someone to get married or something so I can wear it again lol!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Well I'm not going to find one hanging around here am I?? :p:p

Besides that would ruin the point - being that I want to be self sufficient without a man paying for stuff :D:D
