NSD number 2 for me. Took a sandwich and some home made hob nobs for lunch at work and made sure that all the people having chips in the office didn't tempt me.0

Hi everyone
My first NSD! Really struggled to stop myself buying a treat at work, and very tough to not give in to takeout urges... I think this is gonna be harder than I was expecting!0 -

:snow_laug I've never seen so much snow!!!! :snow_grin
We trudged into town early this morning to buy my daughter some wellies so she could spend the day in the park tobogganing, making snowmen, igloos etc and having snowball fights as all the local school are closed today and tomorrow.
Luckily one or two shops were open in town so we were able to get her some wellies and some essential supplies like bread and milk.
Because I have been putting off going shopping all last week we've got hardly anything in the cupboards and of course the milkman didn't come this morning. (No postman or dustmen either. )
There are no trains and buses running round here so I would imagine that whole swathes of London and the Home Counties have come to a complete standstill.
We didn't spend any money yesterday though and we plan to batten down the hatches until at least Wednesday now.

Hi all
Hope everyone's keeping warm and away from the yucky snow!
NSD number 2 for me today... been to work and back and wasn't going anywhere else in the horrible weather - snow is good for debt-busting!

Hello everyone
Just a quick query - if I lend DS £400 towards buying a car will it count on one of my NSDs? After all, I'm not spending the money and I'm getting it back in two monthly installments AND he's paying me "interest" too!
