Just a thought, but why don't you formalise it a little more and check out possibilities at places like CAB, CCCS etc? Might be a more structured way to put your experience to good use!

    Hope you enjoyed the trip.

Great to see you back. And what a lovely request. Have you thought about talking with your local CAB to help out there?

Yeah, post-trip blues can be pretty horrible! It'll pass in time though, just try and hang onto to that thought.

The only reason I suggested doing it a bit more formally is to protect yourself a little bit. It's a really nice idea but you are dealing with an open internet forum and with financial issues and if you're going to be giving advice etc, you don't want to expose yourself to any potential problems.

Maybe give MSE Towers a call and see if there's anything you can do to help out.

I agree with the others - its a lovely thought, but to protect yourself I'd do it through a charity of some discription, so you get support from other people, and you aren't broadcasting your home address. I'm sure there are lots of lovely people out there, but equally there are plenty with problems and mental health issues. If you get in too deep with someone who turns out to have problems that go further than you realise, you could end up in over your head.

Nah, its more than that, but thanks. Will be heading back down under as soon as I can!
