Electric guitars for £49

My local "reverb" store is selling "First Act" electric guitars for £49. This is the base model, but reviews suggest that it's competently made and an acceptable starter guitar.
If you have a computer with a suitable soundcard, you could match this up with Waves Guitar Solo amp simulation and effect software with a free one year trial period (but remember to register the software or it times out after one week) and you're set.
