Obama is right on one thing

Reliance on oil for a country is only for the short term... we should also be investing in other alternative technologies.. or should've the last few years.

In particular I think our nuclear power generation should be increased.... and an entire sectory created around the safe design, operation and maintenance of the nuclear power plants.

Eventually we could reduce our reliance on oil and gas.... which is what we need to do in the long run anwyays..

Every body knows this, it just seems the Yanks cannot ditch the big truck and V8 mentality. They are obsessed with it (small dicks)
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

The case for this is truely compelling, especially after the recent Russian/ Ukranian dispute.

If the government feels the need to throw money at various projects, then heavy investment in nuclear power stations and renewable technology is the way to go.

Unfortunately, the market does nor recognise this fact. On one thread, government direction is slated, on this it is applauded.
