I went into full on nesting mode 2 weeks before Lily arrived. But all day on the day before she arrived (at 5.41 am) I had this mad urge to bake and cook stuff. Now, anyone who knows me knows I can burn a salad so this was most odd. I made a huge pot of spaghetti sauce, a cottage pie, chilli, biscuits, 2 cakes and some fudge

Haha.. I know what you mean, it's more interesting and you're less likely to just shove stuff out of sight..
