Joint Bank Accounts

Hi everyone, thought this BR was going a bit too smoothly. Have realised that both our Joint accounts are still active, contacted Barclays today and they said that yes my business account had been frozen but not the joint accounts they have removed my name and put all liabilty in my wifes name, they never contacted us and direct debits are still being taken from the accounts and we are still being charged. When we spoke to the OR he told us that ALL our bank accounts would be frozen so did not take any action in closeing them. can anyone tell me if this is right?

Rijo, you should have been advised that if one of you goes BR all joint liabilities fall to the non-BR party, so yes it is right.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
