Quidco - tracking something I didn't purchase

Hey all

Sorry if this is in wrong place, feel free to move.

Yesterday I spent the day getting quotes for car insurance and went via Quidco for a few quotes.

I had one quote from Kwikfit Insurance but didn't take out the inusrance as it wasn't the cheapest/best. However it is currently tracking at £42.50 on Quidco!

Now I assume this will drop off when Quidco realises I haven't purchased it, but find it a tad odd that it has tracked at all??! Anyone else had same issue?

The correct insurance I purchased has tracked correctly.

    Yes it will decline..Yes Insurance did the same for me as well as Kwik Fit

    Kwik Fit should reject the cashback claim from quidco and will show as unsucessful on your earnings page.
    It might take a couple of months to change from tracked to declined.

    heh kwik fit is still showing as tracking for me since Dec 07

    I DID buy the policy from them....but i've got it as tracking at 3 x £42.50 !! fingers crossed they don't spot the mistake and let it all through lol!

    The same thing happened with me as I was comparing car insurance on Quidco. But now the problem is that Kwik-fit is the cheepest.
    So my Q is if I buy it from Kwik-fit running a new quote, would my previous trackings nullify my genuine transaction?
    I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T
