Mortgages when you have been bankrupt

Hi
Does anyone have any advice on what the likelihood is and where to look for a mortgage if someone has been bankrupt?
I have recently become BR.
Not that i plan on getting a mortgage just yet, but one day in the future this is the only debt i would ever consider getting into. I have learnt my lesson with credit cards etc.
I have never had a mortgage. Live with my partner who has not been BR but is credit rating is below average.
I know of a friend who went BR but still managed to get a motgage before it was removed from her credit file. She did apply for a joint mortgage with her partner and they had a small deposit. They did pay a higher interest.
Just interested to know if there any options out there still?

Once you have been discharged and have a large-ish deposit it is possible (albeit at higher rates)0

There are a couple who will lend but need upwards of 45% deposit.
Also need to clean your credit file. In todays market unless you have a huge deposit they wont even look at you.0 -
