Highly unlikely, other people have said they are turned down for driving lessons let alone a car.

    Why not ask husband's sister?

The Midlands covers a large area, but I can confirm that for my part of the Midlands that is utter tosh.

I have no idea why you have mentioned that you are 'white born England'.
    Gone ... or have I?

It sounds like you're talking about people claiming DLA mobility allowance, they can either have a weekly benefit payment or a mobility car which is paid for instead of benefits, the DWP won't help you with a car.

  • I've heard off a car dealer friend that he has eastern europeans and others coming to him to buy a car with a cheque from the dwp !!!!!! is that all about
  • what utter rubbish is put on this site......DWP will not pay for a car for some one to start a job....I work as Lone Parent adviser & we have a very budget to help people into work but this is one thing we would never consider!

As for the car dealer friend thing he's got his wires crossed or david69 is just trying to stir it up!
