One Month Free DVD Rental Trial at Tesco

I've just recieved an email note from Tesco that their free DVD rental service is up from 2 weeks to 1 month (trial period). Not the biggest deal but every 10th client gets a free dvd player or recorder (can't remember which), and every client gets extra tesco points.
Not tooooo bad! :j
Note: when you're looking for films, you need to search wisely, as all the rubbish low budget films appear first in the list - the good ones are at the bottom of the list, or only when you search specifically for a title.

The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

I should just mention that the email did not appear specifically targeted at me and no code was required by me. Is there a link to it? Just been to Tesco website and it still says 14 days trial with no mention of free dvd player.0

i've just finished my 14day trial with tesco.
when you sign up you get an e-mail stating a date you must call them by to cancel your trial. if not yo will be charged. fine i said no problem. so come the 30/01/06. problem is they dont tell you all the dvd's have to be back by that date aswell so after a long argument with them they agreed to refund the money. but apart from that all went fine.
so just make sure all the dvd have been sent back a day before the date you have been told to cancel by. LOVE LIFE PROCEED & PROGRESS0 -

If you Go to http://trial-dvd-rentals.co.uk (a tesco dedicated site) you can get a 30 day free trial.
I think this is a different deal to the 'DVD Player' one.

Re. Your last message to me
Hello,
May i say that i am totally disgusted by your customer service in this department and would like this to be sent to the manager please. I tried to cancel my subscription in the first month as dvds sent were not my top choices and i have now found by speaking to your representative that more established customers get the new ones first!! So i tried to cancel but you said i sent back a day too late.
Fair enough so i said ok i'd do another month & cancel. You then send me faulty dvds(gone with the wind) and i recieve more dvds that wernt my top choices(no new ones out AGAIN!).so i send them back in time(xmas time) and you have the cheek to charge me for being a day late despite me sending them back in time and telling you i was cancelling before the date and it is obvious i sent right back without watching as it was the dvd 24 !!!..really long(i didnt have long enough to watch it so was returned without being seen.So you did not live up to your dvd promise "Our objective is to deliver excellent service by offering fantastic selection, convenience and superb value.".this was not excellent service at all(faulty dvds & poor selection) and i have learnt from your staff that you dont get the selection you choose(especially new dvds released) unless you have been with tesco quite a while. So please stop stalling and live up to the customer service you say you have and give me a refund as you have charged me for a month that i have not used.Thank you
A damon0
