I'm using stamps as well, in Tesco. Am getting married later this year, so am using the stamps for any wine etc that is on offer once I have saved up.

  • I am keeping my Tesco vouchers but OH keeps hinting that he wants to use them for an xbox game etc grrr! Would be good to get the stamps for in there as well even though I shop at @sda weekly. I find with the card in my purse I just use it up whereas with stamps you can't really do it.

My mum keeps Iceland stamps for me though and then I stock up on the crisps, snacks and some freezer stuff for the festive period.

I use the Tesco stamps. I start in January buying for our self catering summer holidays, and then in July for the christmas grocery shopping. It makes a difference for holidays too, as it gives you an extra few pounds for spending money

  • Card what sort of card if it isn't the Tesco card which you stick stickers on at £1 a pop? I am saving for my first £50 to cut down at Shopping at tesco, Christmas is also a good idea too.

Yeah, I have two. I do Mr T and Mr M, both are near to me and both have different offers so I have one of each. It sorts out food and a few bottles of wine for gifts although I do have a present cupboard where I buy little bits across the year destined for Christmas presents.

Our local (and only) shop is a co-op and they still do dividend stamps which we save up on their cards until Christmas. It means we can buy lots of little foodie treats come Christmas!

I use to collect saver stamps but not done this year. Next year I will try and save but not sure for where yet. I am also going to try and save £1 per day from January 1st until November 30th, this will give me a good amount to spend in December on food and drink from wherever I like.
