Last week I printed off about £ 5 of vouchers ( links all from this site ) and trooped along to my local Tescos ( Norwich ) and using the self service till merrily began scanning teh vouchers and they were all working until a very snotty staff member said - Tesco do not accept photocoped vouchers - I said they are not photocopies they are printed from the internet - to which she said - we don;t accept those either , and proceeded to void my transaction , remove my vouchers from the recepticle and make me move to a manned till to pay
I have a good mind to complain to Tescos - would this be valid in this instance
bearing in mind that I bought not one item I had a voucher for

You could complain....if it makes you feel better but I'm afraid that we all have our hands tied with supermarkets as far as coupons are concerned.
Each store can use its own policy and I know that none near me will touch internet printed coupons.
I have until recently been usung approximately £10's worth of coupons a week for my big shop in asda who would take any vouchers as long as they sold the product.
They have recently stopped this service saying it is losing them too much money.
I feel we are soon going to be finding this in a lot of stores unless they realise that we will take our custom else where to save a bit of cash.
Ive given up on vouchers and am now using internet shopping when I can use a code off here to save on delivery and cash.
Works better for me than vouchers to be honest. No more stress in the busy supermarkets and delivered straight to the door. Just hope they keep up the money off codesMake £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -

Might be worth emailing the companies that you had the vouchers for and explaining that you "bought" their products but you were not allowed to use the printed vouchers.
They may just send you some through the post;)0 -

Is it true that when the delivery arrives you can hand the driver vouchers and they will be taken off the price, or is it simply the codes that you can use. (I've just ordered our stuff for the first time via the web)
Also, I assume that you couldn't order goods mentioned on the misprice forum and then take them back for an R&R, or could you???
Thanks

Then hopefully your Tesco will be more inclined to accept 'real' vouchers even if you haven't bought the stuff...0 -
I'd just print them off again in colour and on card and take them back again. You can make them look quite good without much effort. Also, go shopping through the self scan tills when the store is VERY busy - they will have less time to go through the coupons in detail!0
