  • Very excited as have spent nothing today. Went to post some amazon sales at the post office but couldn't park easily so will go tomorrow.

  • £14.47 at tescos for the top up grocery shop (and new vests, trousers and jumper for little miss won't-stop-growing) - although came to £18+ I had some vouchers I've been saving. and £1.80 on a book of stamps, of which I needed one, and the rest are safe in my wallet.

    Not the lowest spend ever, but still - no more grocery shopping till next week! :T

  • I spent absolutely nothing today. Spent 2 hours on my new allotment which I even have rent free for 6 months as it is in such a state. Retail therapy through 40 free prints from snapfish with free postage code.

    I was doing really well up until this afternoon nill spend :rolleyes: , then I had a nasty afternoon at work :( I was feeling very down on the way home and as Hubby is working away I wasnt looking forward to yet another night in on my own and also sorting my debt letters out..not a great night planned really.........so I went brought myself a take-a-way :o £5.40 I know I shouldnt of :o but it was very nice :D

    Note to self: must try harder tomorrow!

  • Today was a zero day, hurrah!

    I went to the library after work to catch up on the papers, saving $1.95 instead of buying them. It's not a huge savings, but it adds up!
    I'm an American living in Oxford using the exchange rate to my advantage. (As of 4 Oct 2006: 1USD=1.88GBP)

  • Spent nothing today so well chuffed!!! Was through in Edinburgh today with my work but hired a car (through work credit card) and then went to my Mother in Law's for dinner.

    Going to the pub for a few drinks with friends tomorrow but I'll be on the soft drinks so hope to spend no more than a fiver tops.

    Spent about £6 on drinks on the motorway today for myself and my work colleague,large latté, very nice but stupid price, plus over £50 on diesel but that's on expenses..that's all today.

    Norwich car insurance initial payment something like £67 (can't remember), was slightly cheaper than paying monthly, couldn't afford to pay the full amount upfront but did switch car insurance so cheaper than last year.

    2 x theatre tickets for March to see Sweeney Todd for about £26 (used the Daily Express offer of BOGOF - lst day today for offer)

    BHS - 3 x pairs of X'mas socks with flat gift box £2.70 but used gift vouchers so didn't spend any cash thank goodness

    Boots - a few EA shower gels and pulse points (which I split between my mum and sisters) and 1 EA bath salts all for £0 as I used a voucher
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
