Newlook dressed has left me with sores?

Hi everyone.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this but here goes.

I brought a dress at just before xmas in New Look. I tried it on and it fit then just hung it up in my waldrobe and threw the receipt away. I wore this dress on Saturday night and have been left with two marks from where the the wire and very sharp metal came out of the dress and dug in to me i have two sores in exactly the same place either side of my back about and inch by an inch maybe bigger from where this dress marked me. I know you can take things back if you have one your debit card statement but i think i took something else back and exchanged it for this dress so the total amount won't show up on my card. Can anyone let me know where i stand with this as i 'm in shock that a dress cna do this to me lets home that it doesn't scar.
