My husband has had the same thing. HSBC transferred one account to DG Solicitors and the other Metropolitan. He called to each to make his monthly payment and they kept giving him a different number to call. He called the number and it kept being answered by CL finance! No one had bothered informing him that the debt had been transferred yet AGAIN.
We are now going to send a CCA request to these guys as the debt just keeps getting transferred, the balance never seems to go down and the amount add up to aboout £15k but it was only ever about 10k that was run up so guessing that about 5K is sodding charges.
We are hoping that they do not have his CCA so that we can negotiate with them. Hoping that we can put some money aside to offer them a settlement in the future which I understand they are far more likely to accept if there is no CCA.
