Just bought some great "longer" length trousers for my 6 foot tall 13 year old son at BHS. I have been looking everywhere. They were £8 in sale and they had quite a large selection. Got short sleeve shirts too.
I know he is 13 but I have to buy 16 year old stuff. Asda are usually very good, but they have very low stock at the moment.
Any help on finding decent black school shoes ( that he might actually wear i.e. not old man shoes !!) size 12, BIG size 12 would be much appreciated.0 -
M&S have started to do longer length trousers for boys - and they are long! I have the issue that my DS1 is long and very thin (unlike his mother!) and so where we get them long enough they are too big around the waist.
There are some codes for M&S on the discount boards as well :beer:Free/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0 -
I agree the pants can be big around the waist but my son just wore a belt, he was more bothered about the length.
As for shoes I bought my son some Blue Harbour ones from M&S and they lasted 18 months.
He now has another pair from Marks and they have lasted really well and I have just had them re-heeled.
Considering he wears them day in day out in all weathers they have worn really well.0 -
Have you tried The School Uniform shop, they have a really great sale on Trutex brand uniforms and there seems to be plenty left in stock. Cheap delivery too - £2.95 on orders under £35, and free over £35.
Trousers were £25 now £8

Tescos go up to age 16 - they had 30% off all uniforms the other week (I got some age 14/15 trousers for £3.50) - I don't know if the offer is still on though.0
