I had a property repossed by Halifax approx 8 years ago. I am also a current account holder with Lloydstsb.
Now that they have merged are they more likely to try and track me down and come after the debtt.
Many thanks for any info.

How about instead of shrugging off your responsibilities you actually pay back what you legally owe?0

They haven't merged systems or anything yet, it's mostly in name and the legal side so it's unlikely they'll be any link to you yet but as minimike says maybe it's the reminder you need to sort it out rather than have it hanging over you any longer. If someone owed you money wouldn't you be annoyed and do what you could to get it back?0

'Can anybody tell me who is doing the best 10 year fixed at the moment. My property is worth £170,000 and I require a mortgage of £75,000. I have an excellent credit history and have been with Northern Rock for 6 years. My fixed rate deal runs out in May 1st'0 -
Am with minimike2, Look to repay what your owe. People dumping and running from their responsibilities are not helpping are current situation.
And if your are honestly also looking for a mortgage, you seem to have the extra to start paying back from the last one.The will to save every money saving penny we can0 -
I didn`t actually put the question correcty. I am actually enquiring regarding my partner.
Thanks for the advice0
