Not sure if this is in all stores, but there is a 'Wedding Event' Sat 31st Jan - Sun 1st Feb in Debenhams for couples who are getting married. If you register your gift list instore you'll get a free bottle of champagne, free mascara, free spray tan (if you spend £15 or more), free beauty samples and make overs... plus other stuff and offers (10% discount on items from your wedding list which you didn't get given but you then buy yourself, free delivery on presents from guests OR £50 giftcard given after your wedding).

It does say you need to register your wedding and gift list to recieve these freebies (and subject to availability) so I think it'll probably only be useful to couples ACTUALLY getting married (rather than those pretending... I know what you're like !). They also say there'll be car hire people, photographers etc there...

I saw the leaflet in Debenhams in Hanley, but I think it'll apply to other stores too as it looks like a general store leaflet.

Its also in Debenhams in Glasgow city centre, My wedding co-ordinator at the hotel we are using told us they are going to be there and to pop along same dates.
