Hypersensitive eyes - recommendations for mascara please

I have always had a problem with mascara and lipstick. If I wear lipstick for more than a few days I get cracked lips. Mascara makes my eyes run and itch.
Ive been getting Boots No. 7 Dream Lash and its looks lovely, makes your lashes thick and long but the last few days my eyes have been sore and gritty and even the skin at the outside edges are red. Im so disappointed as even the hypo allergenic mascaras Ive used in the past have made my eyes run and have been very poor results on top of that. Ive had my eye lashes dyed in the past too which is ok but doesnt give the thickness of mascara.
Is there out there a hypo allergenic mascara that actually is hypo allergenic and at the same time does the job a mascara should please?

Hypo allergenic means nothing Im afraid. Well it actually means its been tested and fewer people then their safety margin have any reaction but someone (or a good few) did get a reaction
Whats good for one isnt good for another Im afraid so no matter what we reccomend you could get a reaction from.
What you might want to do is look at whats in the products you are using and see if you can find the common denominator and then see if you can find a brand of cosmetics that dont use that ingredient.
I struggle with mascara myself - fing my eyes water like mad so it never stays put. Lippy will give you dry chapped lips if its not moisturising enough - perhaps try a brand thats made with shea butter - like fran wilson?0 -
I don't have very sensitive eyes, but they always go red and blotchy for a few days after wearing mascara. I've been really pleased with Blinc mascara - its pretty different to normal mascara.
Have a look at the website, they do small samples if you want to try it. It is quite expensive though, but worth looking into maybe:

You can use normal make-up remover to take them off, that is what my Mum does.
Its strange to pull them off. They aren't welded to your eyelashes, and its very light. I like picking at things so thats why I do it! Its very waterproof too, no problems with me crying. Its very odd stuff, hard to describe!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Lol
Its funny stuff cos it really does put wee tubes over your lashes. It really is the only mascara that I can wear on my lower lashes. The only reason I didnt buy any more of it was its very hard to get good long lushious lashes from it. Sure it thickens up your lashes but I couldnt get any length going at all so now I rarely wear mascara and just let my glasses make me lashes look long :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Never thought of that one suki, magnifying glasses over me eyes
