I keep reading about people getting greatly reduced food from the supermarkets, but all the ones near me hardly ever seem to have yellow stickered products, or when they do, they only knok about 10% of the price off.
Does anyone know a supermarket in/near Wakefield that does good price mark-downs on food?
Thanks

Hi the Coop at Outwood also the Tesco Metro as well there. Both reduce their food down really low to get rid. Avoid Morrisons in town stuff isnt dropped down enough for my liking.0

I work for morrisons from 7 oclock onwards doughnuts bread etc all get marked down as low as 19p for a loaf and 6 pack of doghnuts. 4x pies for 49p just depends what's left and what time you go.0

Thanks - I'm quite close to the Co-op and go there quite a bit already, but I still don't think they reduce their food right down. We get meat from there sometimes, but it's usuallu about half price...
Anyone know of anywhere in Leeds? As we're close to Leeds too.Debts May 09 [strike]£100 Od[/strike], [strike]£1550 boiler[/strike], [strike]£1750[/strike] £400 credit card  Goal - to 3k of savings by Oct 2009 in time for Baby num 2 :j Total so far £12000 -
Timing is everything then...If you can keep your head, when all around are loosing theirs, then you probably haven't grasped the seriousness of the situation...:rotfl:0
