OK the different series washers get more powerfull the higher you go K3, K4, K5, K6 and K7 being the post powerfull. You tend to get a longer pressure hose with the higher series washers as well.
The 2nd set of numbers just increases the features on the washer like you get a vario lance on the basic, next up may have a dirt blaster lance then a detergent pick up bottle even some haveing twin bottles and retractable hose winders then brushes and t-racers.
Personally the vario lance is good for most jobs the dirt blaster has a lot of power behind it and produces a circular pattern where the vario is a fan/flat spray. which is easier for cleaning patios and decking without risk of dammage which I have done on concrete with the dirt blaster it can remove the stuff if it has been mixed on the cheap with too much sand. I have a K391MD and it is plenty for cleaning the car, and removeing the gunk from the path round my grans house and the back garden or street. I bought a 6m extention hose from B&Q so now have 12m of hose it cost about £15. I never use the detergent tank, so I wouldnt buy another with one. If I want to spray somthing down I would just spray it with a spray bottle.0 -
