does anyone know if the Waitrose specific free Revolutionary Road book starts with a 99 code or has a 000 price on the coupon? ie can you use the coupon off your shopping in Waitrose without claiming the book,or does it require the SA to input a price?

They're more stringent than MrT's - I guess it's because employees are partners. SA's are usually much more eagle eyed, and tend to check T&Cs...

From my quick scan of the Telegraph this morning (in the foyer of a hotel I'd stayed in) I don't think the coupon had any barcode - so sorry, don't think you can use with general shopping. hth.

    Thanks all
Daily Star £1 off ok magazine pg34 I think, and on page 38 coupon for rustler burger thingy
sadly, although bc begins 99, it ends in funny numbers so will not scan at the price.

I got my star at tesco, paid for it with a 90p off the guardian coupon, and took out the ok mag and burger coupon. Luckily the CA accepted the ok coupon. (they're sometimes a bit funny about mag coupons even tho all the other tescos accept it and mr ts e mail says they accept it)

However when I went to get the burger, they didnt even have a ticket for the Mighty one or whatever it was. Anyhow I picked up an angus beef burger which was £1.69, and the girl took it off that. Those are actually on 3 for 2, so if anyone wanted to try buying 2 stars and getting 3 burgers..... plus your £2 ok coupons. I half wish I'd got another star myself now!
I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...

Why are you so caustic with people? A simple repeating of the code would have surficed...

But it is annoying when you put all your time and effort into something and people dont read .... at the end of the day most of the information is in the first 2 posts appart from the extra MOC's in the papers.:p

I got the book from Waitrose Canary Wharf where they hand them out at the Customer Services desk, so I sincerely doubt you can use it against shopping. I don't think there was a barcode.

    DAILY STAR SUNDAY

    ** MOC ALERT ** MOC ALERT **

£1 OFF OK! Hot Stars & OK! USA Magazines
    Valid until Monday 26th January

    ALSO

    FREE - BURGER - RUSTLERS MIGHTY ANGUS - 185g - Worth £1.99 - Coupon redemption at TESCO

    <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Although the front of the paper for the FREE RUSTLERS MIGHTY ANGUS says "GRAB YOURS TODAY at TESCO", it is NOT restricted to getting it there.

On page 38 the coupon makes NO MENTION of TESCO and indeed, underneath the main headline for the offer it says ....
REDEEMABLE AT TESCO, MORRISON, CO-OP AND ANY OTHER STOCKIST.

I've seen the Rustlers brands at the above 3 supermarkets but none near me stock the Mighty Angus, only some of the other products in the range.

However just one of the SOMERFIELDS near me (there are 5) do stock the Angus.
I checked they had some in stock before I grabbed my 3 FREE STAR newspapers and redeemed the coupons for ANGUS x 3.

Coupon is a "99" but "000" value so it needs to be keyed in, which is a good job if you want the burgers.
Advert says "Worth £1.99" but at Somerfield they are £2.50

I quite agree Groovygirl - especially as today's posts are still only on page 1!

Just hope all the regular posters don't get fed up and stop - everybody would be a loser then.
