Worcester Bosch Combi boiler 'pulsating'

Over the last few months my boiler has been getting noisier. At the same time it's developed a rather un-nerving pulsating sound. It happens whenever the heating comes on or the hot water is running.

The boiler is approaching 8 years old and has given us totally trouble free service during this time. It's been serviced 3 or 4 times in this period. The last service done a few months ago.

Is this noise a symptom of anything I should be worried about and get checked over?

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the pressure? Mine was noisy when the water pressure was low. I topped it up & the noise stopped.
