Present for greatniece

Hi everyone its my greatnieces birthday coming up in a week or so and I would like to make her a little gift, rather than buying something. She will be 7. The problem is I'm rubbish at coming up with ideas - have done a lot of crafts at one time or another but always have to copy things rather than having an original idea:o

Have lots of fabric scraps, beads, bits of felt etc hanging around - can any of you creative folk give me some ideas - pleease??!:D

Hello Cat,
How about setting her up with her own craft box - my Mum did this a few years ago for my daughter and it was a brilliant pressie. She put blank cards, bits of fabric and pretty papers, sticky labels, a glue stick, DD had brilliant fun making cards and set her off with a lovely new hobby!

I agree with the craft box I think that is a great idea as it could start her on a great hobby. I did this for my niece, 12, with a box of mixed papers fancy scissors glue gun etc. Check out your pound shop they will have lots of fun things. Also I put them all in a plastic storage box so she could keep everything together
