Official MoneySavingExpert.com insert Amazon is selling posh Carvela shoes at the knock-down price of £18 (they come Amazon direct, not a seller). These normally cost £75-ish at Kurt Geiger, so these are a steal! Different sizes seem to come in stock sporadically, so if your size’s out of stock it’s worth checking back the…

buyitall - Are they like, 'true' to their size?

Ie: I'm a size 5 but sometimes need a 6 if they are 'untrue'... Lol. That sounds bizzare! I have my own stupid words. Sure you get my drift though hun..

I'm a 4.5 and when I googled 'Carvela sizing' there was a page on Handbag.co.uk forums with one reply which said they came up small.

I was on the point of ordering the size 5 when I remembered that I bought a pair of Carvela's in the sale just before Christmas, this pair was a size 37 - meant to be UK size 4. In the shop today, the 37 fitted but the 38 was too big for me, so I have gone for the smaller size - hope that makes sense (I am normally a half size though which makes things more awkward!). Carvela shoes are sold in European sizes - 37,38,39 etc, it's just Amazon who have converted the sizes to UK.

Oh dont know what to do, normally I would have jumped at the chance as they are beautiful.
I had loads and loads of silly height shoes but then I had two boys, now I'm wearing slightly smaller heels and wondering whether I may break my neck in these as I'm always having to lift children and bend down and get up and drive and..................oh!

They really are lovely in 'real life', I also have 2 boys but will try to wear these whenever I can - at this price I won't have to save them for 'best', and will get an extra little thrill from knowing how much they are in my local stockists :j

Lol knew someone would talk me around, are they really high to walk in, have you tried them on?
I'm going into town on wed so might go in to try them on but then they are bound to be sold out on here by then.

I did try them on, but only on one foot as they had the 2 sizes I was interested in out on display, one in each colour. I couldn't really walk around much with just one shoe, and I didn't want to ask for the other one as I had no intention of buying them and was in a rush. As well as being high, the bottom of the heel is small so I did really feel as if I had 'high heels' on - HTH.

I was having an argument with myself over whether or not to get them now or wait till I see what I'll get for work I did over Christmas...and my boyfriend then persuaded me last night to "Just buy them" after listening to me debate it for a good 10 minutes. Glad I did as they've now been dispatched and I see their out of stock on the ones I bought (black size 7)! :j
Heels usually come up small on me so I went for a 7, if they fit well enough (and I can walk) I may have to get the pink too....
This is probably my 2nd or 3rd pair of heels so I'm not exactly a shoe obsessive but these are lovely. Thanks to the OP for this find!
