Court Fee for those on Contribution-based JSA

Have all of my forms filled out for my court appointment Monday morning. Got my £345 together thanks to family. Now stressed as, filling out the EX160 help with court fees form, I realise you only get the £150 waived if you are on Income-based JSA, and I am on Contribution-based JSA. Can anyone help as I'm a bit unsure what sections to fill in now, if any, or if I need to pop back round with begging bowl to my helpful family. I currenty have no other income, I have a job lined up which starts end of February, and I have no savings in the bank. I've read all the online help forms but none seem to make reference specifically to contribution-based JSA. Can anyone help?!!!

Can you get remission based upon "gross income"?

Those forms do even my head in. :o

Yes, sorry, you may be right. It appears I can ask for part-fee remission. I read the notes wrong. when it said any applicant with no income must apply under concession three, I was thinking it meant section three. It's actually section five, concession three!

Now I just need to try and find out, if I am eligibile for part remission, how much that part is. Guess I will have to raise the £150 just in case. Wonder how much I can get from the NHS if I donate a kidney or my teeth?!!!

    Hi,

If your only income is contribution based JSA then you will get FULL remission under consession TWO, which as Fermi says is based on gross annual income.

Oh yes, I was thinking I currently have NO income but you're right, it is Concession Two, as 'other benefits' are listed as income. Whoops. I'll print another form off then. Thank you so much. I can give my mother £150 back now then!

13 hours to go until court time, oh dear.
