want to buy Car battery Charger kit

Hi,

I'm having problems starting my car during winter. I have to make a jump start quite often. So I wish to buy a car charger kit. I have a look at one of them in Argos. They are cheaper but not sure whether it is worth of that.

I'm looking for a rechargeable one. Can anyone suggest me a good and an economical one.

Thanks

  • rajakumar,

use exactly the same one meself (since october or so after very old one packed in) and have had no problems with it at all - lent it to a number of people this winter and no bother for them either. don't think you'll get one much cheaper than that for a medium sized engine either.

sure someone will correct me, but if you're jumping it a lot then you may be better off spending £50-60 on a new battery, save your £20 and hassle every few days.

(forgot to say, i haven't got a clue what you mean by 'a rechargable one' don't understand... so apologies if this doesn't help!)

Fr. Stack: While you were out, I got the keys to your car. And drove it into a big wall. And if you don't like it, tough. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters.
