Tesco points - what do they equal?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me (roughly) how much I would get back in tesco vouchers for 1000 tesco points?
I am wanting to buy a dishwasher from tesco and one of them gives 1000 points so just wondered if that was a good incentive or not as I have only just joined the tesco clubcard programme.

which means £40 in deals tokens. If you're new to clubcard, you may not be aware of this...apologies if you are!

At the begining of january i bought home insurance through Tescos because they were offering 2,500 extra points.
I thought the point would be added to my acount before the Feb mailing.
I am still waiting for the extra points, I phoned CS , to be told it can take up to 6 months for extra points to be added. I asked where does it say that on the internet.
He said "it didn't".
