                    Hi,
Its my 30th birthday on the 30th December and I have no idea what do to! I appreicate its a little way away but I hope to do somethting special and may need to budget accordingly!
I don't want a party and hoped to go somewhere with my closest friends and partners for a couple of nights including new years eve?
I live in Kent whch would make London the obvious location which is fine. I was thinking maybe a restaurant on the 30th and somewhere for the new year.
Any suggestions on restaurants, hotels, places to go or any ideas at all.

I'd check with your friends about this first; it could end up being a VERY expensive two nights. (Apologies if they're all well off!)0

Well the plans are coming along, there are 8 of us booked and paid into a hotel right by Oxford street tube which is in walking distance of Covent Garden and a Ramsey restaurant (maze).
Spent ages trawling and the best I could find was a 3* including breakfast for £94 per couple per night. Travelodge was coming in at £110! Used a site called Highlife breaks (sister of superbreaks) that seemed to come on top.
Worried about posting this in case I paid over the odds!;)0

You could go on a party boat on the thames. It's a good night out and slightly different to a standard nightclub. Great views too!
Type 'Party Boat' into google or look at a list of companies on the TFL site on the river page.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

you could try to see if there is a musical show at a theatre & sometimes they do combining hotels, meals & a show but you will need to check if they do it over the new year or not.
good luck with it all have a fab time,I am sure what ever you decide it will be fab,you could also hire a villa in spain & go for a couple of nights not sure of how much it will cost thoughLucky No27
