Plant - flower hire!

Hi there,
Wondered if anyone knew of a place I can hire plants / flowers from (in the North east)for our wedding reception? It's being held in a village hall, and I wanted to cut down on the cost of fresh flowers.
I've spoken to the local council and a couple of garden centres too who don't, so wondered if anyone can help?
Thanks in advance

  • Hi,

I know that you can hire trees and the like for events if that is the kid of thing you are after. You could always dress them up with some decorations that match your colour scheme.

I dont know about your traditional wedding flowers though, it might be something you can find if you ask the right people.

After a very quick search on google found this:

I hope you find the sort of thing you are after keep us posted!!!

I shall have a search too - I know of one company but she won't deliver outside of Gloucestershire and she does silk flowers (which look fab btw and certainly fooled me when I saw them).
  • There's a smaller garden place in Easington Village called Plants r Ross. I've bought some plants there, but they're really nice people there, so it's worth a call to ask if you're still looking.

  • Try companies that supply plants for offices, they might be able to help?
