I went round to shorten the curtains as promised. Got it in the neck for going to church without telling her!!! She wanted to come, she enjoys church, I know she enjoys church etc. etc. etc
1) She knows I usually go
2) She usually lets me know if she wants to go
3) She has a car!
Am I supposed to be a mind reader?

If she comes with me she refuses to stay for coffee which is when I get to chat to my friends! Which brings me back to point 3.
I know I should be encouraging her to save her soul but .......

I actually think that she had had a row with Dad over the curtain rail - it was in bits on the floor. He is getting on now (76) and finds such things difficult and waits on her hand and foot.
But I am fed up of being caught in the middle so I left.
