quote=Stoopid;18023825]Don't bother with the Aeg - I put it in my basket, filled in the registration details, but it is now out of stock !!
Phoned up (since I have it in my basket), but basically told tough !!
Not impressed.
I know B&Q are not the only people who have a on-line ordering system that does this, but WHY can you put something in your basket, but then when you are going thru the payment process suddenly say ALL GONE.
I either have it in my basket, or I don't.
If in store I had something in my basket and when I got to the checkout the sa said, sorry, I want this for myself, you cannot have it......there would be bloodshed. But on-line they can literelly take things out of your basket
Rant over, thanks for heads up op. I will just have to call and get a quote on repairing my old washing machine - probably more than £199 !![/quote]
To be fair to B& Q it does say on the AEG washer page that it was not available online or instore although it still allows you to put it in your basket. I was disappointed too .0 -
Grrrrr. Can't order on-line because I'm in Northern Ireland and they don't deliver here (despite having stores all over NI). Can't order in-store because the item isn't in the brochure they use in-store. So there is no way I can buy the item I want from them. Bah.0

Thanks a lot - got a hob. Delivery 5th Feb. V happy:j0

Thanks OP!
Just ordered the induction hob even though our new kitchen is not ready yet.
Have always wanted to install induction hob and the Hotpoint induction hob at £119 is too good a price to miss.
Have chosen delivery late as late as possible so we still have time to think about whether it is really what want for our new kitchen.0 -
wonder if they are closing down hence selling things off? just a thought as prices seem very cheap - on some items?0

They are definately not closing down
The appliances often come on sale, granted not this cheap, but in my opinion it is a marketing ploy to make you think B&Q are cheap, and as well as buying new appliances you may decide to get a complete kitchen quote etc etc or perhaps bathroom.
If you go to the B&Q website you'll be paying postage on the items unless your order exceeds £400. Lure you in with cheap appliances and you'll consider spending what you've 'saved'. Therefore B&Q are boosting their profits on other items which wouldn't ordinarily be selling.
Just a thought.0 -
Also, to add to the above, I think a lot of these products have been on the market for quite some time, so they are now discontinued or about to be discontinued.0

We have a load of money on B&Q giftcards that can't be used on the website. Really want an induction hob .... Don't know what to do for the best ....:jDeclutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
