original wage slips

i'm in the process of re-mortgaging my house with brittania,and they have asked for my last three months original wage slips,i just bin them every month,i know i should keep them,but i don't,i can request copies of them from my work,do you think they will accept them?,they all ready have my details of where i work,could they confirm my wages that way?

Regardless of this situation, you must keep them. If the tax man ever says you owe him money they are the only way you can prove otherwise. If they look exactly like the originals, yes. If they look like photocopies, no.i can request copies of them from my work,do you think they will accept them?
They could very easily write for a reference. This shouldn't cost you anything.they all ready have my details of where i work,could they confirm my wages that way?0 -

You never know when bits of paperwork come in useful especially as you are a money saver.

that's the thing,i keep all other utility bills and statements,for some reason unknown to myself i bin my wage slips,valuable lesson learned here0
