Mail Order Contact Lenses

Other than Asda does anyone know where the best and cheapest place to get contact lenses is?

you can get them from teson online
you can also get them from Costco (instore) if your a member.

i am a member of cost co - but im not convinced they are the cheapest place! and my cost co is quite far from where i live so costs me about £12 to get there and back!!

im gonna have a look on tesco now. cheers

I have tried Tesco and Asda and have been told by both of them that Boots would not confirm my prescription so they were unable to process my order. I then tried https://www.secondsightopticians.co.uk who I think were recommended on this chat forum. They are fab I think I pay £58 for three months supply of daily disposables. I call them one day and the lenses are delivered usually the next although they do say a couple of days (probably to be on the safe side. I get the feeling that it's a very small company because I speak to the same lady every time I call. Would definitely recommend them.

oooh thanks! i just have to get my prescription from asda and then im gonna give them a go! free delivery too.

my wife had the same issue with tesco they wanted to
confirm her prescription, when my wife asked her optition he wanted to charge her £25.00 for it,
she was told this was all part of the service.
i dont know how the aftercare works with tesco, i do know they have there own optitons if there close to you.
Costco also have after care as well,
if you have a prolem getting your prescription, they charge £9.99 for the contact lens test & £9.99 for another test cannot remember which one now.

after doing research i brought from these people, very fast and didnt even have to fax pescription through - just got an email a day later saying it had been despatched.

Really really cheap - for my lenses were cheaper there that tesco, adsa and many others online. Recommend highly!

I have used a couple of places because the optician suggested a change of brand and prices vary. I used pricerunner to hunt around. No problems with either outlet http://www.optical4less.com/ and http://www.spectacles.gb.com/index.html and both great prices.
