Open day at my NHS Hospital

Im starting working in my Nhs Hospital in about 5wks time i have to go to a open day with other people who also will be starting in other jobs in the hospital,does anyone know what we will be listening and doing in the 6hrs ?
Won 2010: Butlins 5 day Break and £250, 1 yr Virgin Active membership, Meal for 10 at Best Parties Ever, skyline 2011 dvd.

On your induction you will probably listen to a fire lecture, risk management talk, learn about the structure of the trust, infection control and get your uniforms if required...

My induction was over 4 days from 9-5:cool:0

Very boring!

pensions, speech from the chief Executive, possible tour, maybe manual handling session, HR policies talk maybe, lots of handouts and phone numbers.
It's all verrrrrrrrrrrrrry dull!

Mine was 2 days and I was sent an outline of the 2 days. If in doubt you can always ask Personnel for any specific info. It's a good chance to get to know people. They usually send reps from personnel and occupational health etc in case you have any questions and it's a good way of networking.
