Pink Wire Cake Stand Shabby Chic

Hello there money savers, i wonder if anyone can assist me as i am raging today! not even 2 years ago these wire cake stands were 6.99 in Argos. i bought mine only 1 yr ago for 8.99 from ebay but today its got damaged and i need to replace it. i am disgusted and shocked to find them now priced in the region of £24.95 online (and gutted obvioulsy!) how naughty, that suppliers have charged up their prices by this massive amount! anyway, any one got any suggestions / direction for me to go to get my bargain pink cake stand for my pink accessorised kitchen? thanks in advance and happy saving x

    I was in Homebase yesterday
they had that same cake stand in
they were in cream but it was
    £6.99.
Although not pink it would probably
blend in quite nicely in a pink kitchen

Also wilkinsons have been sellling these
and theirs was pink, but not sure if they
have any left, but worth asking them
in case there is still some knocking about
worth a look on the website

they still have the cream one instore at my homebase but dont do the pink one anymore, it's not on the website but they had loads (chichester homebase). BHS also do a similar-ish cream one.
  • Thank you so much for your response as i'm just up the road in Worthing so Chichester is well within my reach! Thank you SO much for the replies as although its a small thing once i've got it in my mind that A) i want to buy one and B) refuse to not get a bargain its all i can think about! hee hee! if anyone happens across a PINK one though thats the one i REALLY want, in the mean time i'm going to phone Homebase and find out if they can get hold of the pink anymore... thanks again for your replies the are appreciated! x
