If my partner & i want a mortgage. Is he able to take it out in his own name (i was discharged 2005)
and then I can join as a transfer of equity. I would be paying towards it and providing him a £12,000 deposit.
Thanks

Hi newbie, not ignoring your post but it is not something that comes up regularly to be honest........I guess the only thing to do is to try it and see?
Have you asked this on the Mortgage boards at all? (don't let on that you have been BR unless you want to but it might not get a favourable response from everyone if you do say you are a former BR).
