Is it the home of naturalist and former presenter of 'The Really Wild Show' Terry Nutkins? I ask as I know from chats with Terry that he loved a good porch extension and the classic bay window design, which are both present with this property. He also did a course in stained window creation when times got hard for him in the late 1990s and I notice that there is a small motif of stained glass running through most of the windows.

If not, is it Bill Gates famous holiday home in the Caymen Isles?

I'm out of guesses after those two.

Damn you Cleaver, you are forcing me to constantly raise the bar. Used to be an old M&W joke was good enough, now it's becoming much harder 'work'.

"Is it a house where the inventor of blue plaques lives?", says Mewbie in a desperate and failing attempt to appear both witty and topical.

I think any factor that helps to keep your high quality posts at the level with which we have all become accustomed to is a good thing.

On a more worrying note, I think I have an obsession with Terry Nutkins.

  • Buckingham Palace prior to the extensive renovations in 1845?
  • That'll be 1847 for the renovations.....history was a mystery to me.
