Arrrgh Courts !!!!!

Hi Guys

Well after finally plucking up the courage to ring the court to find out how long the waiting list was for BC, was told to just turn up with money and forms and sit and wait, but might get told that I can't be seen that day and if not they will then give me an appointment!!! So that could mean two days off work and two lots of petrol money!!! Why they couldn't give me an appointment there and then. I suppose its just the way different courts work.

Sorry for the moan, just had to get it off my chest!!

SN.

If you get there early, say 8.45, you'll be the first on the list and should be seen.

  • Phew, thanks for that Peachy.

Could someone also be able to tell me the exact forms I need to fill in and where I can print them off from. Still actually waiting for my appointment with CCCS on Monday, but I believe BC will be the route I will be going down. I can't believe how much I have learnt from everyone on this site, its full of great people. Thanks again.

    Hi there SN,

I would imagine that this is just a very precautionary warning about not being seen, I bet it very rarely happens, otherwise they wouldn't have a walk in system.
Just take the one day off, turn up nice and early, make sure your forms are correct, money in hand, and off you go..... ;)
You'll be fine, and don't forget it will be well worth the effort!

Actually pooing my pants at the moment, alot to organise before I go, such as getting my husband off the joint bank account, which has an overdraft on it which somehow need to pay for before hand, as OH not going BC. Also transferring the DD's into his bank and putting all the utilities in his name.

There seems to be a lot of pooey pants at the moment........ ;)

I did a TO DO list and crossed it off bit by bit (yellow monkey has done the same) and it worked! I made sure I did things in the right order with a lot of help from here and it all went quite smoothly.
    You will be fine......

    Good Luck
