I've received a letter from a solictors via a court asking me to send detail of my outgoings and asking me to set up a monthly repayment commitment -it is a blue official looking form.
Is this a CCJ? I'm more that willing to pay the loan in monthly installments at a rate originally agreed to when I set up the loan (I fell behind because I lost my job but I am now employmed with a much better wage) - if I offer such a level of repayments can I avoid the CCJ or is it automatic at this stage?

Hi takeover
I'm not sure about this one, what does everyone else think?
Often I think they send a letter to 'kick start' you back into paying them something.
Has the debt been passed onto a debt collection agency?
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Thanks for the reply. If it helps the accompanying letter isn't from a debt collection agency but a solictors - it says I have 14 days to reply - tried phoning them but no one answers.
I'm considering sending them a letter asking if they will consider reinstating the org repayments instead of applying to the court. Will this work?0
