I had my appointment at the court yesterday and i'm now BR!!!!!!!
Just waiting for my OR appointment, which is the last bit of worry.
whooo!
I just want to thank everyone that gave me the strength to carry on....
Just cant believe how easy it was..
I did stress out before I left the house, I put on about 6 different outfits because I didnt feel comfortable, in the end I just settled with a smart pair of jeans and boots and smart jumper..
Got the the court at 9.20 (wish that I had gone earlier even though they said to come at 9.30 because I was 9th on the list on the first come serve basis)
I was sitting around for about 2 and half hours.. but only in the room with the clerk for a matter of 5-10 minutes.. Forms got brought out to the usher who then took them to the judge, 15 minutes later forms were back out signed and job done!!!!!
The different emotions that ran through me yesterday was mental
I felt, terrified, sad, embarrased, happy , excited , relived
I didnt think you could have that many different emotions run through you in that short amount of time.

Congratulations jh1985 - we told you it wouldn't be so bad.
There are a couple of others who are a bit scared about it all at the moment, your post will reassure them, I am sure!
 Good Luck with the interview,

You might not have to go, but they do sometimes.
They're nice there.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Yes I went there, and to Romford, did you get the clerk with the shaky hands counting your money
We had a face to face at Southend and they couldn't have been nicer, I even thanked her at the end for being so nice to us.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Ha ha. Yeah I had him.. He was sooo nice though.. I did kind of chuckle inside though because he seemed like he was more nervous than I was.. :-)
How long did you have to wait for your OR interview? Will they call me to arrange this?0
-
We went BR 27th March, OR interview was 10th April.
Although they said at court the OR would phone us they didn't. We got our appointment through the post within a few days of BR. We had to phone them to ask permission to use our bank account, they'd already written to the bank to say they had no interest in it and assumed we'd been using it all along
He counted our money wrong the first time, then nearly dropped the lot :eek:Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
